Welcome.

My name is Walter, and I am on a mission to go beyond. I am going beyond in business, research and adventure as I seek to understand what connects us in an era of division.

Maybe it's time to go beyond.

Having grown up flying through the endless skies of Wyoming & Colorado and being raised with a deep connection to the earth beneath my feet, I have always been fascinated by the wildly different perspectives that we get at different elevations. Flying in a plane was my first experience going beyond the world that I once knew and seeing it as a complex and beautiful experience.

This ignited a passion to continually push the boundaries and go beyond what is known; to grow, learn, and discover. The journey motivated me to seek new perspectives and uncover truths in every area of life and then to transform that knowledge into day-to-day pragmatism.

My history is defined, in part, by my time as an Air Force Officer and entrepreneur. When I was a cyber operations officer in the Air Force, I worked in fast-paced and dynamic environments, contemplating ethics and cyber policy, all while managing million-dollar assets and dozens of young Airmen who were looking for belonging inside the new world they found themselves in.

During my years as a CEO and entrepreneur, I must be forward-thinking to stay ahead of the uncertain market landscape, crafting a culture of innovation, all while conducting intensive research culminating in earning my doctorate in ethics and theology. Lastly as a leader in the US Air Force, the Navigators, and the American Cancer Society I honed my pedagogy as a subject matter expert including; cyber policy, information technology, ethics, theology, health care, and business.

As a veteran, I am equipped with an in-depth understanding of belonging, emerging generations, and the future of work. I have a proven ability to think deeply about existentialism, sociology, and business while being able to influence performance, efficiency of massive systems, strategic plans, and culture.

But most importantly, this is only my beginning. I will continually chase the horizon of the known and venture beyond. All while creating tangible links to the day to day lives of the community I am creating. Beyond can be done solo, but how much more will we see and discover together?
